- Why Hints?: Teams must decide whether to use a hint (and sacrifice points) or keep trying to work it out. This simple choice tests communication, collaboration, negotiation, and decision-making.
- Engineers Don't Use Hints: Engineers are 80% less likely to use hints, making their problem-solving style a strategic asset to the team (though this stubbornness is often not the best cost-value analysis).
